Liberty Empowers and Wins
Broken,
lost, and weighed down, we struggle to
be free.
Chained to the past, bound in sin and
shame, we falter.
Conflict and difficulties, a way of
life, we cry for relief.
Desperate, praying for relief, we reach
for vindication.
Myriads of
voices clamoring for attention, we
disdain.
No
longer satisfying fleshly desires, we
turn in disgust.
Empty
promises enmeshed in false hope, we
despise.
Battered by false illusions, we grope for
restored hope.
Rising from heaps of ruination,
a new Voice intrigues.
Promising liberty from all that
destroys, hope listens.
Promising liberty to those taken
captive, desire invites.
Liberated from self-will that blinds,
curiosity awakens.
Putting
faith and trust in hope that glistens,
we give ear.
Allowing the new Voice to instruct, hope
comes alive.
Tasting newfound liberty, we step out
of darkness.
Light
radiating all around, joy replaces
disillusionment.
Forsaking
all destroying, the Voice invites
freedom.
Rising with new expectations, newfound
liberty frees.
Liberty taking hold, old bondages begin
to disintegrate.
No
longer chained to the past, we run with
new fervor.
Set at
liberty from all that possessed, vision
inflates.
Vision propelling forward, vindication
strengthens.
Pursuing liberty wholeheartedly, freedom
empowers.
No
longer struggling, weights
lifted, liberty wins over. |
