In the Quiet of the Morning
In the quiet
of the morning, I meditate.
Looking towards heaven above, I
dedicate.
Knowing You are there, I wait in
expectance.
Opening Your word, I listen in
dependence.
In
quietness, I incline my ears to hear
more.
Opening Your word, I knock on Your door.
Setting my heart to Your Word, I draw
near.
Calling on Your Spirit, I seek without
fear.
Word and
Spirit uniting, invite to go deeper.
Filled with His sweet presence, I
cherish.
Revelation and understanding filling, I
relish.
Stimulated by Your presence I dig
deeper.
Enlightened
with Your presence, I marvel.
Filled with anticipation for the day I
revel.
Committed, the day begins with fervor.
Going
in Your strength, I put on my armor.

Book Review for
Treasures of the Heart
Ken Birks has
written a masterpiece of superb continuity.
The majestic flow from Poem to Poem contains
powerful prophetic revelation that delights
the heart. I was amazed at how the poems
were Davidic and musical. They flowed like
a delightful streams with heavenly
impartations.
