Empowered by Godly Sorrow
Crying and
weeping before the Lord, we grieve.
Turning to fasting and weeping, in Him,
we believe.
Sorrow leading to repentance, we fully
embrace.
No
longer given to unfruitful desires, we
replace.
The curse of
death defeated, we extradite.
Freedom tasted, living without regret,
we delight.
Freed
from sorrow, joy redeems from
indignation.
Joy
of repentance captured, we reap
inspiration.
Godly sorrow
seized, virtue extended, we thrill.
Vehement desire taking over, we go forth
to fulfill.
Vindicated from all indignation,
diligence discovers.
Filled with zeal in all things, we rise
to uncover.
Empowered as
a mighty army, we rise enhanced.
Anointed for all prophetic purposes, we
advance.
Day
of the Lord at hand, we pursue, to
encounter.
Fully
in step with one another, we run to
conquer.
The
Commander speaking, leads to
expectations.
His
voice sounding alarms, a great army
awakens.
Hearing His voice, we run freely
reclaiming all.
In
righteous indignation, breaking in, we
recover all.
The
Commander executing His word, stars
diminish.
The
earth quaking, sun and moon cease to
give light.
Darkness capturing, forces of evil
falter amid darkness.
Executing His word, the Commander
releases His fury.
The garden
of Eden before us, we enter our refuge.
Sheltered from darkness, released by His
fury, we wait.
Clouds of smoke by day, flaming fires by
night, we dwell.
Sheltered from His fury, we wait the
Commander’s return. |
