Realities of the New Man in Christ
In the
fullness of the Father’s image, He
emerges.
Displaying the Father’s characteristics,
He imparts.
Filled with mercy, kindness, and
humility, He displays.
The
Word made flesh, He comes showing the
way.
With love,
He calls all to emanate Him in all
things.
To
forgive as He forgives, He challenges to
personify.
To
put on kindness and meekness to all, we
portray.
Having patience and long-suffering to
all, we typify.
Likeminded,
we exude in transcendence to pertain.
Filled with His Spirit, we discard old
ways that chain.
No
longer chained, we’re free to fully
clothe in Him.
Given
to newness in the Spirit, in Him, we
attain.
Clothed in
garments of righteousness, we thirst.
Drinking from springs of living water,
we assert.
Strengthened in righteousness, we add
virtue.
With
diligence, we clothe in Christ-like
attributes.
Garments
placed, we embrace the spirit of
revelation.
Enlightened in His calling, we embrace
authority given.
In
the exceeding greatness of His power, we
trample.
Defeating the devil, clothed in armor,
we dismantle.
In faith,
love, and hope we emerge in Christ-like
attributes.
Given
to the Spirit, He transforms us from
glory to glory.
To be
known as He is, we press toward that
wonderful day.
Continuing to embrace all, we know we’ll
never stumble.
