In Times Like These
In times like these, we question all
heard and told. Distrustful of all
seen and heard, our hearts grow cold.
Spiritual darkness enslaving, we fail to
immobilize. Lost in perpetual
blindness, we wander, estranged.
Alienated by disillusionment, we stand
disengaged.
Losing hope in these
times, weariness drains. Apathy
restraining, losing hope, nothing gains.
Meaningless existence taking root, it
enslaves. Enslaved by darkness, we
look beyond ourselves. Beyond all
disturbing, glimmers of light are seen.
Setting our hearts in these times,
hope enlightens. Glimmers of light
appearing, we set our sights. Hope
settling, anchoring gives way to greater
light. Lethargy releasing, hope
reviving, bondage loosens. Hope
becoming reality, awakening begins
within.
Fresh vision replaced;
renewed purpose brightens. Renewed in
vision, prophetic purposes enlighten.
Prophetic Scriptures strengthening,
blinding loosens. No longer
immobilized, fervor renewed, faith
inflames. Shaking off spiritual
slumber, we rise to proclaim.
Enriched in prophetic purposes, we rise
to tell. Immersed in Scripture,
urgency takes over to dispel. Rising
together in unity, voices of dissension,
we quell. Urgent times driving, with
clarion voices, we rise to sound.
Trumpeting stridently, Sounds
reverberate to confound.
Dissent
quieting, darkness dissipates rapidly,
With hope’s message, we trumpet
gallantly. Dissent fading, in unity,
we proclaim furiously. Drawn by the
Spirit, many respond vehemently.
Given to His fullness, the harvest reaps
abundantly.
Do not
let your zeal subside; keep your
spiritual fervor, serving the Lord
