In Times Like These
Questioning, In times like these, we
look around in disgust, Questioning
all we see and hear; the heart grows
cold. As spiritual darkness envelops,
it enslaves to immobilize. Lost in
perpetual states of blindness, we wander
aimlessly. Bombarded with lies and
false hope, we stand disengaged.
Losing hope in times like these, we grow
weary in well doing. Given to apathy,
losing hope, nothing is gained or
proclaimed. With nothing gained,
meaningless existence further enslaves.
Enslaved by the spirit of darkness, we
look beyond ourselves. Looking beyond
all that disturbs, glimmers of light are
seen.
In times like these, we set
our sights on the hope within.
Glimmers of light popping up here and
there, we set our sights. As the hope
within begins to settle, an anchoring is
sensed. As lethargy begins to
release, we sense the chains loosening.
As hope becomes more of a reality, we
begin to awaken within.
With
fresh vision and purpose, in times like
these, hope realizes. With renewed
vision, the prophetic purposes of God
enlighten. Given to Scriptures, the
prophetic cancels lies once blinding.
No longer immobilized, spiritual fervor
renewed, faith materializes. Ready to
shake off spiritual slumber, we rise to
proclaim.
Immersed in prophetic
promises, we rise in times like these.
Immersed in the prophetic, a sense of
urgency takes over. As urgency of the
times drives, we rise with a clarion
sound. With trumpets in hand, the
clarion sound reverberates loudly.
Rising together in unity the voices of
dissension are quelled.
Dissent
quieting, in times like these, darkness
dissipates rapidly, As children of
the light march on, they herald hope’s
message. Voices of dissent barely
heard; their message is proclaimed.
His message heralded vehemently; many
are drawn to the light. Llight now in
full force, the final harvest is ready
to reap.
Do not
let your zeal subside; keep your
spiritual fervor, serving the Lord
