Freedom Reigns in Solitude
Finding
places of solitude, we set our hearts to
listen.
Thoughts transfixed on hearing; we wait
in anticipation.
Speaking in the Lord’s language, we
raise voices.
Reveling in His love, giving glory,
freedom reigns.
In solitude,
His soft voice penetrates heart and
soul.
Speaking soothing words of
encouragement, we extol.
Reminded of how much He loves, our
hearts rejoice.
His
touch bringing tears to the eyes,
freedom reigns.
Grabbing
hold of the mercy seat, we freely
confess.
Humility before one another, we see as
Christ sees.
Without condemnation we embrace one
another.
Seated beside Him, sins forgiven,
freedom reigns.
Freed from
sin and shame; to the Father, we run.
Cleansed by Heavenly fire, all bondages
turn to ash.
Fully
received, He clothes with robes of
righteousness.
All
forms of sin and bondages loosed,
freedom reigns.
Comforted by
His love, solitude births peacefulness.
Knowing we belong to a Him as children,
we delight.
In
solitude, we discover more of His nature
to embrace.
Knowing thoughts toward us are good,
freedom reigns.
Received as
His own, given authority, we pursue.
Filled with His Spirit, gifts given, we
explore ministry.
Spending time alone in solitude, He
fills with purpose.
Vision, purpose, and destiny merging,
freedom reigns.
The Spirit of the Lord is upone
Me, beause He has anointed Me to
preach the gospel to the poor; He
has snet me to heal the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty
to the aptives and recovery of sight
to the blind, to set a liberty those
who are oppressed.
