Empowered by His Presence
Empowered by
His presence, we see clearly.
With
the cross before us, we discard
ungodliness.
Knowing He's in charge,
we die daily to self.
As He leads, we
discover His abundance.
The path
ahead lit, we no longer stumble.
With joy, we give praise for treasures
given.
As peace takes hold, pain and
sorrow leave.
With His love washing
over, we rejoice in Him.
No longer
bound, we leave chains behind.
With
freedom tasted, we run to attain.
Empowered to run, we reach for the
prize.
Taking up residence, His
kingdom reigns.
Shown things to come,
we press forward.
With all things to
gain, nothing holds back.
With the
prize within reach, we keep going.
Empowered by His presence, His
fruit, we taste.
As fruitfulness
spreads, His fragrance releases.
As
others taste, His presence spreads
rapidly.
With treasures given, He
becomes known to all.
Going forth, He
empowers us to all that's required.
Brethren, I do not count myself to
have apprehended;but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind
and reaching forward to those things
which are ahead. I press toward the goal
for the prize of the upward call of God
in Christ Jesus.
