Quickened
for Spiritual Labor
Alarmed by
all seen and heard, we stand in wonder.
With clouds
of darkness hovering, wickedness reigns.
Shaking off
slumber once gripping, we rise and
ponder.
Called by His
Spirit wiping slumber away, we listen.
The harvest
ripe, we look to Him above to position.
Desiring to
be vessels unto honor, we embrace His
conviction.
Repentance
filling minds and hearts, we turn to Him
in petition.
Quickened by
His Spirit, we present ourselves as His
laborers.
Repentance,
quickening, we break our fallow ground
to subdue.
Embracing the
cross fully, we lose ourselves in Him to
pursue.
As growth
materializes, urgency stirs within to
kingdom action.
Spiritual
fruit appearing, others are drawn in
attraction.
Harvest
fields ripe, we discover places to sow
in abundance.
Quickened for
labor, we toil diligently, no longer
self-absorbed,
With hearts
of faith and expectation, we reap, no
longer robbed.
As the Father
finds those who respond, He fills
abundantly.
Adding
further dimensions of grace, He equips
wondrously.
As
righteousness takes hold, fields are
ripe for gleaning.
His vessels
of honor, quickened by His Spirit, He
sends rain.
As rain
fills, the harvest comes to full
maturity to obtain.
Fully
immersed in His Spirit, we go forth
excitedly, reaping.
Quickened in
His gifts, we labor mightily, yielding
and gleaning.
Rising in
full light of the gospel, many are
compelled, coming in.
As clouds of
darkness dissipate, we stand like a
strong tower.
Calling all
to break up fallow ground, in Him, we
overpower.
Sow for
yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy;
break up your fallow ground, for it is
time to seek the LORD, till He comes and
rains righteousness on you.
