Unfailing Love of the Father
Hurt,
wounded, and offended, we cry out in
agony.
Lost in a
maze of confusion, we stop and consider.
Gone too far
to turn back, we bow in surrender.
Not bowing to
bitterness that defiles, we yield.
Nowhere to go
but forward, we pick up our shield.
Weakened by
doubt and unbelief, we don't give in.
Knowing He
never forsakes, we find comfort in Him.
Strengthening
ourselves, we make straight paths.
Knowing too
much to turn back, we step carefully.
Trusting the
Father's unfailing love, we take
courage.
Pursuing
peace with all, we let go of all that
offends.
Knowing He
alone has the words of life, we take
heart.
Looking back
to past victories, seeds of faith
sprout.
Reminded of
the Father's unfailing love, we take
heart.
As seeds of
faith sprout, hope inspires to a new
start.
Looking for
security, we trust in Him alone to
restore.
As newness
comes upon us, He renews our steps to
soar.
Surprised by
His unfailing love, His faithfulness, we
treasure.
Sympathizing
with our weakness, we boldly cling to
Him.
Not surprised
by our weaknesses, confidence in Him
brims.
Received with
full acceptance and forgiveness, faith
arises.
With doubt
and uncertainty diminished, freedom sets
free.
No longer
lost in confusion, we press forward
mightily.
With gifts
and calling restored, destiny releases
purpose.
Restored, the
past let go; we reach for what's ahead.
Your
unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as
the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches
beyond the clouds.
