Captivated
by the Love of God
Captivated by
Your Love, we cling to You in love and
mercy.
As Your mercy
washes our souls, it cleanses through
and through.
With Your
enduring love, our minds and hearts are
taken captive.
With thoughts
captivated by Your love, we cling to
Your presence.
Clinging to
mercy, we embrace the stronghold of
righteousness.
Captivated by
Your love, we present ourselves as
living sacrifices.
Your will,
not ours; we surrender to Your purposes,
heart, and soul.
Filled with
love and zeal, we dedicate our hearts,
souls, and minds.
Knowing You
are the one who fills all, we bow to You
in submission.
Filling our
vessels with unfailing love, we go forth
in Your Love.
Captivated by
Your love, we leave behind all traces of
worldliness.
No longer
friends with the world, consecrated to
You, we pursue.
Your kingdom
now reigning, new thoughts emerge,
transforming.
No longer
with the smell of darkness, new
fragrances emerge.
Spreading
Your fragrance freely, new life emerges
around us.
Captivated by
Your Love, hearts fill as destiny and
purpose emerge.
Filled with
knowledge of Your will, enlightened, we
press hard.
Pressing
forward, all gained in the past loses
all significance.
In power of
Your resurrection, conforming to Your
death, we tread.
Embracing
Your cross wholeheartedly, we reach for
what's ahead.
Captivated by
Your Love, we stand in righteousness to
gain all.
The prize
before us, the fullness of Your love,
beckons us onward.
The fullness
of love yet to be revealed; we wait in
anticipation.
Knowing we
will be known as You are, we purify
ourselves.
Longing for
the fullness of Your love revealed, we
rejoice in You.
But you,
O Lord, are a God of compassion and
mercy, slow to get angry and filled with
unfailing love and faithfulness.
