Intimately Acquainted with God

Intimately
acquainted with all our ways, You’re
forevermore.
Knowing
thoughts, dreams, fears, sins, and more,
You restore.
Wherever we
go, nothing is hidden, yet Your love
remains.
Towards us,
Your thoughts are more than can be
numbered.
Brought into
captivity, our thoughts remain
unencumbered.
May we know
You as You’ve known us, even in our sin.
With Your
greatness beyond discovery, we seek to
begin.
In Your word
and creation, hidden keys reveal Your
majesty.
With hidden
treasures discovered, we search with
persistence.
With Intimacy
revealed, we seek, without resistance.
In seeking
and discovery, misconceptions disappear.
Teaching us,
Your Holy Spirit reveals Your nature, so
near.
Pondering
beauty and majesty, You reveal Your
ascriptions.
In Your Word,
we search out Your divine distinctions.
In Word and
Spirit, we go forth to uncover who You
are.
In wonder of
Your creation, Your handiwork is
discovered.
In beauty and
magnificence, Your creative zeal is
uncovered.
In discovery,
You’re seen and known in all You’ve
created.
Myriads of
stars, streams, mountains, and
waterfalls reveal.
In beauty and
majesty, You’re detected by all who
kneel.
In
omniscience, You know our future and the
paths we take.
Going before
as a guiding light, You know what’s at
stake.
Trusting in
You, we navigate through dangers and
setbacks.
With thoughts
of peace, our future fills with faith
and hope.
With more
discovered, excellence is revealed for
Your sake.
Incomprehensible and inexhaustible in
power, You succeed.
In
omnipotence, nothing is too difficult
with power that exceeds.
Performing
and doing the hard things, our part is
attainable.
Not
minimizing Your power, all things are
obtainable.
Discovering
and knowing, we’re linked to Your divine
ability.
In all that’s
created, in Your eternal Godhead, You
portray.
Without
excuse, we stand as the sun, moon, and
stars display.
Living and
moving in You, intimacy is experienced.
As the sun,
moon, and stars portray, we reflect Your
grandeur.
Knowing
You’re everywhere, we discover Your
splendor.

greatness is beyond discovery. He
desires that we discover His creative
beauty in each of our lives, which helps
to point us towards our destiny and
keeps us on track as we journey along
the path that holds the keys to our
future. May the beauty and the
fascination of the Lord be with us as we
journey towards our destiny in Him.
