The
Fragrance of Christ
By Kenneth L.
Birks
In the
garden, before sin, the Lord’s fragrance
was everywhere. Like sweet incense;
fruits, flowers, trees, and plants
filled the air. Until sin’s entrance,
the aroma of God’s presence was
relished. Distorted by sin, exuding
in abundance foul odors wreak.
Inundated with flagrant pervasiveness,
foulness endangers.
In need of
Christ’s fragrance to fill airwaves,
cultures collapse. From polluted
minds, rising stench renders hatered
that straps. As pollutuon exceeds,
havoc and turmoil wreak everywhere.
Evil schemes and hatred spreading, many
stumble, terriozed. With distorted
senses, true fragrance is no longer
recognized.
Where are the
intercessors crying for stench to be
removed? Where are the preachers
calling for repentance, proved? Where
are the saints of God fed up with
swimming in sewers? As uncleanness
fills airwaves, Satan’s stench is
everywhere. Now is time to call on
God to cleanse from all that’s impure.
As saints arise to diffuse, the
Lord’s fragrance fills all. Making no
provision for the flesh, His fragrance
releases. With minds renewed by His
Word, His nature fills all. As
freshness fills the senses, spiritual
fruit refreshes. As sweet odors
fill; love, joy, peace, and patience,
overflow.
As His hands and feet,
the world fills with His fragrance.
Walking as He walked, a sweet aroma
purifies the airwaves. Cultures on
the verge of ruination receive aroma
that staves. Filling all in all with
God’s presence, fragrance is detected.
Joining together with one purpose,
His fragrance is injected.
