Blinded by Fools
Wisdom
Tasting forbidden fruit, eyes open, we
stumble. Blinded by fools' wisdom, truth
is non-existent. Caught in false thinking
paradigms, fools reign. Trapped in
distorted realities, foolishness strains.
Blinded by false
gods, many trip and stumble. Ignoring
voices of reason, they bring trouble.
Mindless reasoning gained, venom spits
foolishly. Infecting cultures, deceit
unfolds rapidly.
Reasoning gone,
the masses succumb to insanity. Through
failed ideologies, they become unhinged.
Eyes sweeping, questions rising, we observe.
Destruction spreading, we stand troubled.
Searching for
answers amid demise, ask for wisdom.
Standing in shadows unseen, we reach for
truth. In pain and agony, we question
all seen and heard. Fires of destruction
raging, we’re left wondering.
Appalled by all
seen, we pray for truth to restore. No
longer blinded, we restore pillars of truth.
The still small voice heard, we receive
instructions. Rising from ash heaps of
self-destruction, we submit.
False ideologies
discarded, wisdom from above obtains.
Embracing Christ rather than fools' wisdom,
we reign. Partaking of God’s wisdom, we
outwit fools' wisdom. Returning to our
first love, we avoid false schemes.
The crown of the wise is their riches,
but the foolishness of fools is folly.
The tongue of the wise uses knowledge
rightly, but the mouth of fools pours
forth foolishness. Proverbs 14:24 &
15:2
